How Levels Work
Age placement is based on the student's age as of September 30, 2026.
Level I
Ages 5–8
Level II
Ages 8–11
Level III
Ages 11–13
2–3 years prior experience required
Level IV
Ages 13+

KinderBallet
Ages 3–4
Fun-filled basics of ballet in a creative, encouraging atmosphere. Students develop rhythm, balance, coordination, and flexibility to age-appropriate music.
Dress Code
Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.
Ballet
All Levels
Focuses on the foundation of dance including terminology, barre exercises, center floor technique, and across the floor combinations. Advanced levels develop complex leaps and turns.
Dress Code
Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.
Jazz
All Levels
Blends jazz with contemporary movements and current trends using age-appropriate choreography.
Dress Code
Level I: black leotard, pink tights, tan jazz shoes. Levels II–IV: black leggings, fitted top, tan or black jazz shoes.
Lyrical
All Levels
Concurrent enrollment in Ballet or Jazz required.
Combines technical and creative elements in an expressive, flowing style. Concurrent enrollment in ballet or jazz is required.
Dress Code
Form-fitted clothing, nude sandals or footies.
Tap
All Levels
A combination of Classic Broadway and contemporary rhythms emphasizing balance, sound, and speed.
Dress Code
Black leotard, pink tights. Level I: black patent leather shoes. Levels II–IV: black oxford tap shoes.
Hip Hop
All Levels
Fast-paced style featuring street styles including breaking, locking, popping, and isolation.
Dress Code
Black leggings, fitted top. Level I: black ballet shoes. Levels II–IV: black high-top sneakers.
Pointe
By Instructor Approval
Instructor ApprovalFocuses on strengthening ankles through appropriate stretches and exercises. Students develop the strength and alignment principles needed for pointe dancing. Enrollment requires instructor approval.
Dress Code
Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes (pointe shoes upon instructor approval).
